Based in south London, the area of Streatham has a rich and diverse history. Beautiful architecture built throughout the 19th and early 20th century, theatres and the first ever John Lewis; for a long time Streatham had it all. Sadly, over the 80s, 90’s and 00’s the area declined and it gained itself a tough reputation.
In recent times a new Streatham has been born from the ashes, with trendy developments, investments, shops, cafes, restaurants and bars springing up all over the place. Whether you grew up here, work here or have just moved in – we aim to bring the local community together to celebrate the Streatham of today.
There are plenty of ways for you to get acquainted with the My Streatham community:

Streatham is mainly located in the south London borough of Lambeth and is made up of a few different areas.
Nestled between Clapham, Brixton, Croydon, West Norwood, Crystal Palace, Tooting and Balham – we’re really well connected. Streatham High Road (A23), often referred to as Europe’s longest high street, connects us from the South Circular in the north right down to Croydon in the south.
