20 Apr The Exhibit B Effect
Exhibit B – the sister venue of Balham favourite Exhibit – is the creative entertainment hub at the heart of Streatham Hill. Living up to its ‘youth club for adults’ name, Exhibit B is a hive of activity where Streathamites can get together and try new experiences.
The industrial style bar delivers on the drinks front, that’s for sure. Delicious cocktails are created and curated by the in-house team, with special offers and deals every week. You can visit on Fridays and Saturdays for music and a little bit of mischief!
When it comes to food, Executive Chef Adrian Watters (ex-Soho House) has created a menu dedicated to grazing, brunching and laid-back dining. Food is served every day until 11pm, or if you really can’t drag yourself out of your digs then there’s always the the option Deliveroo too.
At weekends, brunches are served bottomless, easy tiger, with an hour-and-a-half of free-flowing fizz for just £15. What more could you ask for to accompany your smashed avocado and poached eggs.
On Sundays, you can kick back and relax with one of their very special roast dinners. Priced at just £12, they’re tasty, succulent and served with unlimited roasties and Yorkshires. Yes, unlimited, so make sure you arrive hungry.
In our opinion, where Exhibit B really excels is in their events. A personal favourite is the monthly Bougie Boozy Drag Brunch which is a sight to behold, with a trio of drag queens taking over the venue on Saturday afternoon to bring the party to the Streatham Hill strip.
The Darkroom at the back of the bar is an intimate space where you can take part in weekly classes, including life-drawing or terrarium building. It’s also home to South London’s only Silent Cinema. For just £15 you can enjoy dinner and a movie, with a glass of wine for just £3 on top. It’s private, cosy and tucked away, so when you’re in the Dark Room, you feel like you are miles away from the bustling Streatham High Road outside.
The entire Exhibit B experience has been carefully designed to create a stimulating and sociable space where people to let their hair down, be themselves and feel inspired in a way which Streatham has never seen before. Check out the Exhibit B website for more details on events, silent cinema listings and special offers.
